The Caribbean Conference on Crime and Criminal Justice invites participation in the Third Conference which will be held at the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus which is located in Kingston, Jamaica. The main theme of the Conference is “Effectively Responding to Serious Crimes”

Efforts are being made to compose panels on the following themes:

• Criminological Theory
• Victimisation
• Organized crime/ Transnational crime
• Firearms trafficking
• White-Collar Crime
• Crime and Tourism in the Caribbean
• Crime and economic development
• Problems of Crime and Justice among people of Caribbean origin living in Europe and North America
• Juvenile Delinquency and Juvenile Justice
• Challenges to Policing
• The reform of justice systems
• Corrections

We wish to specifically invite papers on the experiences of the wider Caribbean, not just the Commonwealth Caribbean countries.

Abstract Submission

Interested contributors are invited to submit an abstract of no more than 300 words to

• Line 3: Author(s) organization/affiliation in bold Italics
• Line 4: State/Province and Country in Italics


The Abstract must be typed in a font size not less than 10pt
