Performance Indicators

The criteria for measuring success of the Information Communication Technology strategy under implementation will be measured thus:

• Percent of campus that is wired (networked).
• Budget allocation for timely updating primary and secondary hardware and software.
• Computers per FTE students.
• Proportion of technology-enhanced classrooms.
• Proportion of courses employing technology.
• Status and performance of WAN and LAN networks.
• Training for faculty in the use of new teaching technologies.
• Degree to which enrolment management, registry, bursary, and student services are linked.
• Quality of IT support services.
• Implementation progress in computerization of major administrative functions.
• Adequacy of information flows to support decision-making.
• IT Training coverage for various categories of staff.
• Turnaround time for dealing with IT problems/issues.
