The Double Major in Botany & Zoology
The aims of the double major is a combination of the aims for the individual majors and will therefore enable students to gain detailed knowledge of selected aspects of the animal and plant sciences as well as the requisite skills to further explore the structure and functional organization of these organisms.

 

PART II    LEVEL II

A Double Major in Botany and Zoology requires a total of 64 credits from Part II; these must include 32 credits from:

BL20J / BIOL2011 General & Molecular Genetics

BL20K / BIOL2012 Evolutionary Biology (4)
BL20N / BIOL2014 Ecology (4)
BL20P / BIOL2015 Biometry (4)
BT21B / BOTN2011 Seed Plants (4)
BT22A / BOTN2012 Plant Physiology (4)
Z20G / ZOOL2012 Functional Organisation of Animals I (4)
Z20H / ZOOL2013 Functional Organisation of Animals II (4)
 
PART II   LEVEL III

Plus 32 credits from Level III with no more than 16 credits from either the Environmental Biology or Experimental Biology syllabuses.
