A detailed and fascinating dairy of experiences by Raymond E. Priestley, a member of the Committee on Higher Education which visited the West Indies in 1944. The Dairy commences on February 17, 1944 when four members of the Committee: Sir James Irvine, T.R. Rowell, Margery Perham and the author left the United Kingdom for the Caribbean to start investigations pertaining to the establishment of a university in the region. The last entry is June 10, 1944.
