James Parrent

 

Dr. James Parrent is an Archaeologist and Cultural Resource Management Specialist. He has a B.A. in Anthropology from Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio, specializing in Cultural Anthropology and Prehistoric Archaeology, an M.A. in Anthropology from Texas A&M University, specializing in Nautical Archaeology and Conservation of Artifacts, and a Ph.D. in Anthropology from Texas A&M University, specializing in Cultural Resource Management.

Dr. Parrent has worked in Jamaica as an archaeologist for more than 20 years and has resided in Falmouth for 10 years where he has led efforts to preserve and restore the historic district. His presentation today outlines the work in Falmouth.
