Zandile Ndaba

 

Zandile is a South African living in Pretoria, South Africa.

She studied sociology and commerce in strategy and organizational dynamics at the following universities:

  • University of Botswana, Lesotho and Swaziland (UBLS)
  • University of Zimbabwe
  • University of Natal-South Africa

Ninety percent of her career has been in the field of rural development – as a passion and commitment to make a difference in the lives of the commonly marginalized members of society. An ardent believer and champion of black economic empowerment.

She has worked in the field of transformation, rural development and research in nine South African countries vis-à-vis

  • Swaziland
  • Mozambique
  • Botswana
  • Zimbabwe
  • Tanzania
  • Zambia
  • Lesotho
  • Malawi
  • South Africa

Zandile is a member of various board of section 21 companies focusing on issues of transformation and black economic empowerment.

She is currently the National Program Manager of the Community Public Private Partnership Program. The first of its kind in South Africa. The Program started in 1999 and is in the process of being institutionalized. She has led a successful team of change agents to the World Summit on sustainable Development (WSSD 2002) to receive the first prize in the theme of Sustainable Community Development.
