Summer School
The Institute of Caribbean Studies invites students of the University of the West Indies to register for the following courses that are being offered in the Summer of 2008.
The following courses are being offered:
- Caribbean Civilisation (FD11A)
- The Culture Of Rastafari (AR25R)
- Deconstructing the Culture of Sports (AR25S)
- Fashion, Culture & Development of the Caribbean (AR29E)
- Culture, Gender and Sexuality in Jamaican Popular Music (AR35G)
- Rastafari In The Global Context (AR35R)
Duration: 6 weeks
Start Date: May 29, 2008
End Date: July 12, 2008
Academic Value: 3 Credits
Each course consists of four (4) hours of lectures and two (2) hours of tutorials each week. Students may select up two courses from the group.
