Mr. Dolphin’s Message
Year number thirteen in the life of the Aston Preston Hall is going to be the lucky one for those of the fortunate to have been afforded accommodation in this hall, and even more significantly acceptance to the University of the West Indies which celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2008, during the course of this academic year 2007-2008.
The family structure that exists and works so well here at Aston Preston Hall was not achieved by magic nor by any other quirk of chance. It took careful thought, firm implementation and ongoing care for us to get to this stage, the architects being our students, staff and the university community at large.
Your joining our community simply means that we welcome you with open arms, commit ourselves to ensuring your comfortable and meaningful stay here, not only at Preston Hall but on the Mona Campus in terms of your all round involvement.
You on the other hand, will be expected to engage the type of strengths and energy that will enhance the continued growth and relevance of the hall and this hallowed institution, The University of the West Indies.
