The West Indian Medical Journal’s Secretariat is operated by a team of dedicated, talented and competent employees. It is with great pride that we approach the task of presenting to the region and the world, a Medical Journal of the highest international standard while making a significant contribution to the field of medicine.

We are involved at every step, with the publication of the West Indian Medical Journal, its Supplements and The West Indian Dental Journal. The sometimes tedious process includes the collection and tracking of submitted articles, pre-editing, retyping, and various aspects in between, which ultimately ends with the production of another issue of the Journal.

We stand by and believe in the principles as stated in our mission statement; “to provide information of general interest to the international medical community, and of particular relevance to the Caribbean…and contributing to improved healthcare.”
