Kristinia Doughorty is a finalizing PhD student whose work focuses on soil security for resilient nutmeg farming systems of Grenada with an aim to reduce their risk to climate-related hazards. Her research interests also include climate change adaptation, disaster risk management and sustainable rural livelihoods. Kristinia's primary aim is to make a meaningful impact on vulnerable groups in the Caribbean region through increasing their capacities and resilience to environmental shocks and stresses.
