Research Interests
- Reduction of potentially toxic
oxoanions by kinetically active
cellular and non-cellular substrates.
- Stereoselectivity in Biomolecular
Reactions Involving Metal Ion
Complexes
- Molecular Mechanics(MM) and
its uses in the study of structural
aspects of ligand systems and
complexes of main group and
transition metal ions.
- The search for potentially
useful novel bimetallic and
trimetallic systems.
- The mediatory role of dissolved
molecular oxygen in redox reactions
with particular emphasis on
amino acids, vitamins and small
molecular weight substrates
of biological interest.
