    Consisting of 138 coral islands, Bermuda has been brushed by
    several hurricanes, though has had fewer instances of being directly hit by one, having encountered only 7 in the last century (the latest being Fabian in 2003).

    Terrain Low hills, separated by fertile depressions

    Government Strategies


    Emergency Measures Organization (EMO) is a government agency headed by the Deputy Governor and the Police Commissioner. Their task is to coordinate the efforts of the government departments as well as private industry, and communicate information to the public. A command post (COMOPS) is setup my EMO during an emergency.
